Continuing Education

Continuing Education credits will be available for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and risk managers. The number of credits per session will be listed in the on-site program. Complete instructions for receiving credit will be included in your registration materials.

Instructions on how to receive CEUs

The Annual NPSF Congress is certified for continuing education credit by the providers listed below. In order to be eligible for credit, attendees must complete all applicable evaluation, attendance, and CE request forms by the established deadlines. These materials and corresponding instructions for submission are provided at the Information Desk. Please note that the eligible contact hours, the requirements for credit, and the methods of submission vary for each continuing education provider.

Nurses

Nurses who successfully complete the conference will receive contact hours provided by ANA.
The American Nurses Association Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
ANA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider number CEP6178.

Physicians

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for CME (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Vanderbilt School of Medicine and National Patient Safety Foundation. Vanderbilt School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for CME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Vanderbilt School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 21.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Risk Managers

Approval for continuing education credits toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal is pending.
