Insightful, motivational and entertaining, the four plenaries presented at the NPSF Congress each year feature influential keynote speakers addressing today’s most relevant issues, offering perspective, new thinking and encouragement. Featuring the popular Lucian Leape Institute's Town Hall Plenary: Distinguished members of LLI will discuss the latest white paper, Unmet Needs: Teaching Physicians to Provide Safe Patient Care.

In-depth, interactive talks with leaders in the field, these roundtable events continue to be a Congress favorite with attendees, providing access and insights unique to the NPSF program.

RESEARCH & SOLUTIONS POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The Research and Solutions poster display provides a forum for the presentation of results from hundreds of patient safety research projects and practical applications.

Research Posters highlight cutting-edge patient safety research, whether basic or applied research. Emphasis is on research projects that have been implemented in practical settings and that include discussion of the challenges and barriers to implementation.

Solutions Posters highlight the use of patient safety approaches, methods, and tools and the resulting changes that have led to demonstrable reductions in risk of harm, or improved safety in any area of health care.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

NPSF is committed to providing the most complete educational experience possible to Congress attendees. Continuing Education credits will be available for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and risk managers. The number of credits per session will be listed in the on-site program. Complete instructions for receiving credit will be available at the NPSF Information Booth at Congress.
